Equine Emergency Vets, Inc. was developed to provide complete diagnostic evaluation and treatment of emergencies as well as acute onset and recurrent lameness. Dr. Young is a diplomate of The American College of Veterinary Surgeons.  Dr. Young is excited to offer his expertise to northern Virginia and Maryland horse owners after having spent the past several years as Assistant Professor of Equine Surgery and Emergency Care at The Marion DuPont Scott Equine Medical Center, a campus of the Virginia- Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. After having participated in colic research as well as having performed approximately 120 colic surgeries per year, Dr. Young is a valuable resource in fully assessing colic on the farm and determining the next course of action. Please take time to review our  services  that include digital radiography , digital ultrasound as well as on the farm lab analysis of blood as well as abdominal and joint fluid. Contact us
